As for the subject matter, my take as a former member of the American news media is we would probably like Rompuy. That way, we can make puns about the "Rompuy Room" in Brussels. (Romper Room is a famous children's TV show.) That is about as much depth as we can expect from American media on EU matters. Excellent and thoughtful analysis. And very nice writing, I would add.
